Everything is very charming here. Gumusluk retains its identity as a fishing village with fishermen restaurants that are the best for cooking fish and octopus. There is a small island called the TavSan(Rabbit) Island which you can walk through the sea there are lots of rabbits which are fed by the villagers on the island to justify the island’s name.
Leleg city of Myndos is lying partly under the water and if you can dive you can see the remains. The region is a protected historic site. Today in sunken Myndos you can see the theatre, stadium, walls and a mosaic covered pletau.
The church which is used as an art house is from the Roman era. The iner port is like a lake eeven in the worst weather. Everywhere is clean, the shores of Gümüşlük is granted the blue flag certificate. It is a wonderfull spot for those of you who would like to do tracking.
The best time to visit Gumusluk is the twilight of the evening. As the sun sets you will be able to see thousands of different colors. The color of the water and the sky is breathtaking while you enjoy your delicious fish in one of the waterfront restaurants.
